Poetry & Comix by Juliette Torrez (Manic D Press) $15.95 – In the final days of the ’90s, poetry activist Juliette Torrez paired underground writers with up-and-coming comix artists, publishing their works in twenty-seven hand-stapled mini-zines brimming with gritty urban stories and comedic poetry, accompanied by quirky comic art. Yes, we sold them here.
