The publisher sez: Cumulus Zine launched its second issue, Cumulus: A New Epoch in November of 2020. The topic and meaning of “A New Epoch,” chosen before the COVID-19 pandemic, protests for equity, and Presidential Elections, evolved as the team designed, but one aspect remained- that there are many readings of our place in the world. Cumulus is a collection of creative work by architecture students at the Illinois Institute of Technology with the purpose of stimulating the exchange of ideas, establishing a dialogue between academic and personal creative pursuits, elevating the avenues in which students express themselves, and curating an archive of diverse opinions and interests. .
