A collection of daily Moomin newspaper strips by the popular Finnish cartoonist Tove Jansson, who was basically the Scandanavian Charles Schulz. Created for the London Evening News in the early 1950’s, the strip was syndicated to over 40 papers during its five year run. The Moomin family is a charmingly weird bunch of hippo-like creatures, and their adventures gently poke fun at our modern social conventions. A lost classic, rediscovered by the folks at D&Q.
