Sharpe and Goodrich turn out a stylish low-key split. Goodrich's "The Greatest Love Affair" reads like a crisp Murakami short story set to a darlng Jay Ryan influenced line. Then the book takes a Sharpe turn towards Sam's more madcap style. "Every Celebrity Ever" does a good job of extending the brash guffaws of his Brunetti-flavor 1-panel gags into a full length story. His second piece is a charming Seth tribute called "Thick Masterson" I find doubly more entertaining than anything coming from Palookaville lately. -EF
