Adams' Compiled Thoughts starts as a drift through a benign cloud of like and dislike lists and collaged random notes before landing on a two page story where she learns of her babysitter's death and attends her wake. It's here, towards the end, that the reader can really get a feel for the emotion of her experience and the potential of Adams' writing - I wish the whole zine was written with as much consideration and depth -though this is really a great start. -EF
