By my count, Joseph Remnant is running neck-to-neck with Noah Van Sciver for "Most Curmudgeonly Line Drawn By A Young Person". His work illustrating Harvey Pekar's "Cleveland" was perhaps the most fitting match for Pekar's grouchy narration since the American Splendor R.Crumb collaborations. Blindspot, his solo series shines with the glow of the light reflecting off a million beads of brow-sweat. Drawn looser than issue 1, this installment is no less beautiful or psychologically astute. -EF
