I do not know what went weird with this issue of McSweeney's but it seriously smells so toxic in a repulsive sort of way that it is giving me a headache everytime I open it! I'm guessing there's the regular mix of fine art and lit, you've come to know and respect but I can't get into it without feeling barfy from the smell wafting of the pages. Comes wrapped in plastic so you'd never know...perhaps making it a perfect "gotcha" gift for frienemies? -EF
