The cover and the term "graphic novelette" don't quite do justice to this translation of Belgian artist Tom Bouden's nuanced story of a woman, Sarah, and her partner, Tim, learning to live with her HIV positive status. Bouden draws with the exacting clarity and subtle color of Herge, letting the straightforward draughtsmanship be an easy accompanyment for the subtleties of the rich narrative being crafted. -EF
