Half-Asleep #1 is pretty intriguing. The story of a precocious preteen and her multi-field genius mother solidly riffs on themes Hetland worked with in the series Fugue - the realizations and disatifactions of talent and expectation- while also breaking free a little - Half Asleep seems to be venturing into a dreamland fantasy.
