"Subtitled Dying, the third issue of Patient Files continues Amaris's struggle with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. This part of the story starts off when a few months after Amaris was given approximately 2 1/2 years to live, her heart fails and she is admitted to the UC Davis Intensive Care Unit. This issue reads as if you are following someone through death. Reality seems to be a grey area, so Ameris tries to describe as much as she can. It is both beautiful and sad."
