Juliacks' comics have a visual vibration and narrative experimentation that gushes forth like floodgates opened. A story of the life twists that shape a stubborn young girl, each image framed by a Finnish translation that also acts as a border representation of the titular invisible forces, this is a cavalier tally of the tolls of life on youth. Like Sakura Maku's, Lee Relvas' and Jason Overby's comics it takes me a minute to sink into this world and the way things get done here, but once I find my bearings, some of the most interesting and unexpected techniques are being tried to tell this story with some wonderfully articulate results. -EF
