Three zines in and I think the concept here may be running dry - in this issue of Henry and Glenn, the innuendo doesn't get gayer, the music references don't get wittier, and the whole issue is mired in a running gag about that one time Glenn carried some cat litter. The lineup has talent, no doubt- Tom Neely, Mark Rudolph and Josh Bayer sure can draw- but there's no one-up-manship or push-the-limits stuff happening, just that Beaver Trilogy feeling of watching something beautiful get trapped in its own derivatives. -EF
