Windy Corner Magazine #3
Published by Sparkplug Comics
I believe this is the finest issue of Windy Corner to date: Full color Lilli Carre pages open into richly colored long comics by English and one of my favorite artists Sakura Maku who presents a pulsating lightshow of collage, celebrity cameos and devil-may-care dayescapes into unexplored comics realms of molten dialog and tie-dye watercolor. Jason T. Miles has a spread and there's a nice article on the feathery illustrations of Garth Williams, Frank Satoro's take on Gipi's Garage Band and Vanessa Davis interviewing Carol Tyler at what may be her sauciest. -EF
