Jesse McManus' milkshake linework is full of manic gesture and frentic John Kricfalusi-style motion, and it's sort of for/about weird kids in a similar Ren-n-Stimpy way also, with less retrokitsch and more sincerity and pattern freakouts. The story here is a boy named Spider who discovers his personal animal magic and, with his pet Nako and strange sister, trucks through some harsh scenes on a way to meet a performer wth similar talents. Solid frenzy, start to finish.
