Aggression Management Manga
by Rinko Endo
31p, b&w, 5.5"x8.5"
Endo describes aggression management techniques learned from a job at a short-term psychiatric hospital, so this comic is, in large part, edu-tainment. It's also pretty awesome-it's both educational and entertaining and though the cover doesn't quite do it justice, the pages inside are wonderful comics: clear, well-balanced dynamic drawings that keep the topic playful and personal. A.M.M. is a bit like a training manual- but I stayed engaged and interested the whole way through - Endo brings a satisfying clarity to explaining the principles and approaches to aggression management that made me consistently appreciative of how much I was thinking and learning throughout.
