The first in Little's three-part series of a bum's progress. Borb deftly handles it's subject - the pitfalls of homelessness and addiction- refreshingly without polemic, but with a keen eye for harsh realities and little ironies. Told through concise 4-panel strips, it's one of the most interesting, effective and substantial uses I've seen lately of a format that often feels weightless. -EF
