Castle and Wood #5 How Brother Far Out Thou
by Darin Shuler
30p, b&w, 5.5"x8.5"
A shoe-in for the "best subtitle on a minicomic" award, Castle and Wood #5 is thoroughly great. Shuler's got a style that harkens up a lil bit of Brian Chippendale and Dane Martin but Castle and Wood also has an energy and humor entirely it's own. This issue C+W make it to Darwood's creepy brother's house and some sick experiments ensue. Shuler's great at crafting stand-alone narratives built on the changes and consequences provoked from previous issues and this adventure is no exception. TOP PICK, luv this. -EF
