Up To The Top
by Ian Sampson
24p, b&w, 8"x5.5"
Up! Up! Up! The skyscrapers are the heart of the city in this economic fiction comic by Ian Sampson. They are home to a whole class of itinerant steeplejacks, who live in the uncompleted towers, and move onto the next construction, never touching the ground. When the economy drops out, builders lose their livelihood, and steeplejacks are flushed out of the towers. A class-war and media storm ensue as the cultures of the ground and air collide! Well-drawn comics storytelling that dances at the lofty edge of fantasy and reality.
