A series of anecdotes that all start with what happens when a narrator's daughter complains, "Daddy, there's something under the bed." Sometimes it's a bunk bed, sometimes it's a monster corrcting prepositional grammar, sometimes it's Sartre declaring that God is the solitude of man. Always it's hilarious. -LM
