Established in 2019, Mulberry Literary – edited by Kae Johnston and Darcy Dillon – is an online and in-print publication dedicated to showcasing boundless creative work from across the world.

Amy Eaton is the co-host of the Lady Live Lit show MissSpoken, as well as a director, writer and Live Lit performer. Among others, she has read for Chirp Radio’s First Time, Write Club Chicago, Voicebox, Is This A Thing?, and 20×2 Chicago where she tries not to read, but to do something ridiculous and outrageous with her 2 minutes onstage instead. She has published work in The Coachella Review, Hippocampus Magazine, Napalm Health Spa, a not yet released anthology, and of course, Mulberry Literary.
Cecilia Rose Dillon has her Bachelor’s in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago, where she served as an editor for the school’s literary magazine, Allium. She is additionally the co-creator and host of the podcast Tubi or Not Tubi, where she has the privilege of interviewing and analyzing ultra independent film alongside her co-hosts.
Yareli Armévida is a first-generation transwoman of Mexican and Nahua descent, and a Chicago-based writer. Through fiction, gesture, and scent, Armévida investigates the inexorable links between militainment, superstition, and shame; with footnotes in armamentism, metacognition, and blame. She has exhibited traditional artwork and scents in Dallas, Denton, and Chicago.
Vic Xochitl Chavez is a queer disabled Chicane poet, bookworm, and artist based in Chicago, IL. They hold a BA in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago, where they were an assistant editor for both Columbia Poetry Review and Hair Trigger. Their poetry has been published in many places and establishments like Los Angeles Times, Southside Weekly, and Breakbeat Poets Vol. 4: LatiNEXT. Vic Xochitl is a senior art and poetry editor at Mulberry Literary, previously published in the magazine prior to taking up an editorial role.
