This month, we’re celebrating the spookiest time of the year with an action-packed special event! Zine Club member Eric Bartholomew (Junk Drawer) will kick off our Zinemaking Hangout with a mini workshop on making zines inspired by found photographs. We’ll have all the supplies you need to create a new zine on the spot or make headway on a work-in-progress. We’ll also be discussing zines we wish we could call Back from the Dead, so please bring your favorite out-of-print titles to share. Zine newbies and longtime enthusiasts alike are invited to join us at Quimby’s!
Zine Club Chicago, the city’s only book club-style event for people who read zines, is produced by Chicago Zine Fest/Midwest Perzine Fest organizer Cynthia E. Hanifin.
